Hi, I just discovered your blog and am enjoying it! I have been reading about the 100 thing challenge for over a year now and it sounds interesting. What I do not see on anyones list, or mentioned, is what do you do with inherited stuff? Is everyones parents alive? Do they not have childhood stuff or photographs, college diplomas? No one has "grandmas teapot, or grandpas pocketwatch"? Just an observation. It (the 100 things) really forces you to live in the moment. I am very impressed by the idea, although, not sure I could ever get there.....:) Keep up the great work.

Hey Linden,

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. You raise a great question. It takes me about a year to go through a journal, sometimes longer. I have some time to think about it, but if you had asked me this a few months ago, I would have said recycle it. Now...with the baby triplets, I may have to cop out and call it a book.

Okay, your blog is officially going into my reader. I can learn a lot from you!

Question, as another person who keeps a journal: what will you do once your journal is full? Will you scan it to store electronically, make it an official "book" to avoid counting, or burn it as a sacrifice?

I REALLY want a Saddleback bag. How is it? I've always been intrigued by the 100 Item Challenge and I think I'll give it a shot sometime in the near future.
