I’m a writer, more specifically a blog-writer.  I don’t major in writing compelling sales copy and I don’t really feel that it’s a skill I want to spend time on.

I’ve committed 50% of every SALE (that’s Gross income, not Net income for you nerd-ilingers out there) in 2010 to local charities making a difference in my city to clean it, beautify it, and make it a better place to live. 

I firmly believe that us bloggers (or our big brothers, Internet Marketers) should be giving back to causes that we believe in.  Our business overhead is so low…typically a couple hundred bucks a year, that we have plenty of profit margin to give back.

I’m Charley Forness.

I’m 37, married to Nichole, have beautiful baby triplets (Bella, Owen and Noah) and am a Vice President in my department for a Fortune 500 Company. 

I have the resources to keep up with the Joneses, maybe beat the pants off a few of them but I don’t bother.  It ain’t worth it.  Ever.  Taking care of my children now and in the future is far more important to me.

I’m a writer, artist and teacher at heart.

It’s less stressful on me and less stressful on the Planet.

I’m not some young kid out of school filled with great ideas but little experience implementing them but I’m not so far away from it that I don’t remember what it was like.   Those school kids are hopefully our next great leaders.

I’ve gotten winded walking to the mailbox…run a marathon and two triathlons…then back to couch potato again…all in one year.  Now I am fit again.
